Karachi (Once a city of Life)

Sixty four Years are enough years for any country to realize where they went wrong and what direction they should take now. Sixty four years are enough for any person to understand which political party is right for them, who are best for the country. But unfortunately when this analysis of mine comes to Pakistan every math, every system, and every calculation of mine either stops or goes wrong. Since the independence or since the death of our founder Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah everything is gone wrong except two or three things. 1973 Constitution, Nuclear Test and Pakistan winning the Cricket world Cup in 1992 are the only few things that comes to mind.

Since our independence we had numerous Martial Laws which played crucial role in destroying our country, Leaders were assassinated which brought instability. Numerous Elections or number of Prime Ministers were handpicked which made us a laughing stock in the world. Numerous Political Parties were established confusing the masses and resulting in bigger mess on the national level. One Political party takes the country to a War (PML Q), One party takes the country to a Financial collapse (PPP) one party brings Blood Shed in the country (MQM), one party wants to excel in looting the wealth of our people (PML N) and then there is another party which wants to correct all those mistakes. That is (PTI) but no one gives them a chance as votes are rigged, bought and elections won on cast and race.

MQM is the main topic for this Article. This political party was founded by Altaf Hussein in 1984. Their Head Office is in Karachi but seems to me that it has been moved to England for several reasons. MQM was formed by our establishments to break the stronghold of PPP in Sindh (One of the Province of Pakistan). In the beginning Mr. Altaf Hussein made a strong impression on the students and people in Karachi by calling himself and other people living in Karachi a Mahajar (An Immigrant). Everyone should have known or realized then that this particular person doesn't want to be a part of Pakistan or will be trouble in the future as Mr. Hussein is a fan of violence. Since it served the purpose of breaking PPP vote bank in Sindh, the Army was more than happy to let them grow their reign of terror. He created MQM to be seen and known as a Political Party but it in fact was more like a Gangster party. Since they got hold in Karachi and Hyderabad they started to make their reputation known. Extortion, Looting, Kidnapping for Ransoms and Murders are a trademark of MQM. Benazir Bhutto the Prime Minister at that time realized that Karachi has to be cleaned that meant MQM days were numbered. Many MQM workers were killed by Pakistan Army and Altaf Hussein ran away from Pakistan to England where he got his British Nationality afterwards. Mr. Hussein started his life on party funds collected by the means of terror in Karachi. He ran the show from UK, directing party policy, executing the reign of terror against the people of Karachi. It is amazing how people listen to Altaf Hussein's speeches; I have never seen such a funny politician in my life. I have seen dumb politician but not a clown. He is an embarrassment to all as a leader, as a person, as a politician and as a speaker. He is a great actor; he should have been in Pakistani Movies. I sometimes cannot differentiate that MQM a political party or a Clown party. Seems like agencies do like him a lot that is why he is still alive and acting like a Joker.

Altaf Hussein should be prosecuted for the murders of hundreds of Innocent people. May 12th incident is one of the examples of his ruthless killing machine and brutality. He never threatens anyone in public; he got his workers for it. He is a bigger threat to Pakistan then anyone right now. You can make peace with Taliban again but you cannot make peace with Altaf Hussein. Pakistani government should terminate his Pakistani passport. It makes me sad when I see people of Karachi suffering but they have a light of hope coming to them soon in the shape of Imran Khan. His party (PTI) will bring them happiness and will bring life back in Karachi. Karachi will be once again the city of life.

Paying the price for 9/11

911 was a day which cannot be forgotten by anyone especially me. I still remember when my brother called me home that morning and asked me to switch on the Television. I was watching this horrific incident happen on TV in Alexandria, Va and didn't realize that there will be a Heavy price paid by my country Pakistan. Pakistan did not even have any hands in it. All those terrorists who planned and acted the terrorist acts were not Pakistanis and they were not trained in Pakistan. Osama Bin Laden the master mind was not a Pakistani not lived in Pakistan and not even planned that attack while sitting in Pakistan. Still Pakistan was dragged into the mess. War on terror was never our war. It was brought to our doors and forced onto us but now that this War has become our War.

Americans lost close to 6,000 lives that day, Pakistan lost many more in this War, we have lost more than 35,000 lives since 9/11 and still losing more. Pakistan has spent $67 Billion dollars so far on War on Terror, in which US has given only $15 Billion dollars, a war which was not our War to begin with. Pakistan is completely destroyed Economically, Financially, socially and is a society in ruins. Security of Pakistan is very unstable, India the long rival of Pakistan wants Pakistan to be declared as a Terrorist country, and their desire has been since independence to destabilize Pakistan. We are fighting on all fronts. Since the War on Terror started the terrorists have entered Pakistan and Pakistan had paid with the blood of innocent people. We are fighting and dying not for our Freedom but for the freedom of American people. The country which Americans have fought for, for that Dream Pakistan has destroyed their own dream land; they lost their dignity, honor and respect. Now American government don't even ask them before entering Pakistan cause they don't trust them anymore, but we are still fighting and we keep fighting till we kill and destroy every terrorist and its supporters in South Asia. I feel Sad whenever I see Pentagon or remember that horrible morning, but I urge Americans not to forget all those Pakistani kids, women and men who have lost their lives for the American Cause of freedom. We, Pakistanis do feel for your loss but urge you to remember that both Nations are on the same boat. We have lost our loved ones too and still losing them.
